Hope Beyond Jiggers Initiative 2026

The Hope Beyond Jiggers Initiative 2026 is one of NALFA Community Based Organization's flagship humanitarian projects aimed at eliminating jigger infestations while restoring dignity, health, and hope among vulnerable communities in Siaya County. Thousands of children, elderly people, and vulnerable families continue to suffer from jigger infestations, limiting children's school attendance, reducing productivity, and exposing families to preventable infections and stigma. Through this initiative, NALFA will conduct community outreach campaigns that provide jigger treatment, prevention education, household sanitation, footwear distribution, basic hygiene supplies, and follow-up community support. The project will also integrate health education, sanitation awareness, and referrals for vulnerable households requiring additional medical and social support. By working closely with local communities, volunteers, health professionals, and partners, we aim to reduce the prevalence of jigger infestations and improve the quality of life for affected families. We invite individuals, organizations, and well-wishers to partner with us in restoring hope and dignity to those in need. Every donation directly contributes to treatment supplies, protective footwear, hygiene kits, volunteer mobilization, medical outreach, and community education.
